I totally neglect this blog nowadays! But I’ve found some recent news that has really made me happy. A few months ago I wrote a post wondering when the next Gene Kelly will come along. You know someone that can sing, dance, act, and pretty much do it all. Well, after watching a few episodes of Glee (Yes, I’m obsessed!) and I think I may have found him. You may all know him as Mr. Schuster on the show, but in really life he is Matthew Morrison. In a recent interview he was talking about making an album and he said..
“Right now, I’ve almost finalized a record deal and am going to be working on an album. It’s going to be different…It’s going to be me and a big orchestra, but also with beats. I want to be like the next Gene Kelly. I want to kind of do it all. I want to have a career in movies, television, music and Broadway – but have them all be separate, their own entities.”
I’m so with him on this one and I think he can do it. I will SOO be buying his album when it comes out.
